I was tagged my both Eugenia from Genie in a book and Renee from Book Boyfriends to do the Sisterhood of the World Blogger Award tag.

sisterhoodoftheworldbloggersaward-graphic

I am so excited. I haven’t done a tag in while and instead of doing 10 questions, I am going to be doing 20 so I can answer questions from both Eugenia and Renee.

Rules

– Thank the blogger who nominated you, linking back to their site.
– Put the award logo on your blog
– Answer the ten questions they have sent you.
– Make up ten new questions for your nominees to answer.
– Nominate ten people.

Question Time!

1. If you could travel to a setting in a book, where would it be?

This is a really hard questions. But if I had to say anywhere. I would have to the world of Harry Potter, because well, there is witches and wizards and magical beast, to goblins and ghost and magical feasts.

HARRY POTTER

2. What’s your opinion on love triangles?

Okay I really dislike love triangles. I have spoken about this a couple of times. They really annoy me and I get so frustrated with them.

3. Do you judge a book by its cover?

Yes I do, you do, and everyone does. I recently spoke about this in a discussion a couple of months ago.

4. What under-rated book have you read that you’d recommend?

Zac and Mia by A.J Betts

22536441

5. Have you ever felt a ‘black sheep’ when it came to not liking a book that everyone else seemed to have been fangirling about?

Yes! Recently. I tried to read Falling into Place by Amy Zhang

6. Best book boyfriend?

Ohh this is hard! Dimitri from Vampire Academy is close to the top of the list but.

7. What’s your favourite food?

PIZZA! Okay I love it so much.

Pizza 09

8. How do you achieve a blogger-life balance?

It’s very hard and the last few months I have been pretty weak at it but hopefully I can back to my feet. I also have spoken about this not to long ago

9. What’s one of your hobbies outside of reading?

Other than reading and writing. I love drawing and watching TV shows and movies I could do it all the time.

10. What is the biggest thing you’ve learned about book blogging since starting?

It’s hard but amazing. I have met so many amazing people. Other bloggers. I have made so many amazing friends.

18. Are you the only reader in your family or are you a reading family?

No, my mum reads a lot, and I always give her my books to read which is awesome because we can talk about them. My little sister and brother both read as well. My brother is currently reading the Harry Potter books after my persuasion. I am also trying to convince my little sister to read Harry Potter as well but she may be a little too young. I JUDGE BOOKS BY THEIR COVER AS WELL! And gah, it’s a shame about Falling Into Place. I’ve heard so much hype over that one but have yet to find some time for it. Hopefully I have better luck! I do love a bit of lyrical prose… Fantastic answers, my dear! x

Loved your answers Angel! We must have been to the same Penguin Teen Lives then!!! 😀 THE EXACT SAME ONES!!! Because 2013 was my first one, and I went to 2014 too! 😀
I actually have a feeling you’d be most like Jill Mastrano from Bloodlines and VA! 😀
Next time I go to a blogging/fangirling event, I will know so many more people! YAY!!!

I have a love-hate relationship with this series. I have a love-hate relationship with this series. But I ended up really enjoying this one. It’s best friends to fake dating to-lovers. It’s always been you, bad-boy/good-girl, and I loved that. While Save Your Breath has quite a few tropes, it really leads itself to it, and it works.

Aleks and Mia have known each other for years now. Since they were teenagers, that angst has been building up this whole time. And you can tell right from the get-go, it’s fantastic. I even wanted more of it, because I love pain. When Aleks went to live with Mia’s family as a teenager, sparks flew, but for many reasons, they both put their feelings aside. And well, now they are not only going to be fake-dating, but they might as well be engaged, too.

I really enjoyed seeing how both Aleks and Mia both tried to hide how they were feeling throughout the whole ‘fake-dating’ situation, but anyone could see it. They know each other as no one else does. Aleks has a lot going on, and while I do think this was brushed over a little too much, Mia is his centre. Mia is a massive music star and is a female in the industry, so yeah, people don’t respect her. Obvsiouly because why couldn’t a female star be badass and write about the things that she has gone through? Aleks and Mia get each other, and that is very clear from the start; they are both just trying to squash everything. We get to see them slowly start to show how they feel, and well, one night it all explodes.

Overall, I enjoyed this one a lot; it’s not my favourite of the series, but I had a great time reading it. I liked Aleks and Mia a lot as characeters and while I think the mental health aspect could have been explored a whole lot more, I can see why it wasn’t. The romance was slow and spicy, the angst was great, and the payoff for these two was what they needed.
