Should I Finish This Series?

Sometimes I start a series, read the first book, fall in love, and then never pick up the rest of the series. I don’t know why I do it, but it happens way more often then I would like to admit. So today I thought I would ask my lovely followers if they can help me out. I need all to help me decide if I should finish some series.

The series that I have unfinished are normally series that are ongoing when I start. I’m a massive binge reader, and I love reading books in a series one after the other. So waiting for the next book out and then reading it is hard for me. I read a lot of books in a year and when the next year rolls around, I sometimes forget what happens in a book. Therefore I know I need to re-read and then pick up book two and so on.

Anyway, enough of all that. Here are the series that I haven’t had the chance to finish and don’t know if I should. Maybe you can help me decide?

Gravity Series by Sarina Bowen: This series is very high up on my ‘to finish’ list. I’ve read the two first books and really enjoyed them and I do plan to get to the third someday. But I think I will need to do a re-read of the first two books before I pick this one up. It’s one of my favourite romance genres by one of my favourite romance authors. So I do need to get back into it.

The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton: I read this one when it first came out and enjoyed it. I even have the second book, I just haven’t picked it up yet. There were parts that I enjoyed from the first books but there were parts that I didn’t love either. I do think I will finish this series, but I might wait till the last book is out and then binge read it.

Themis Files by Sylvain Neuvel: I listen to the audiobook of Sleeping Giants and adored it! I even gave it nearly 5 Stars. It was seriously fantastic, but for some reasons, I have never continued. Should I? I’ve read a couple of reviews of the other books and it sounds like it’s going to be fantastic, so I know I really should.

The Trials of Apollo Series by Rick Riordan: You may ask why I haven’t finished this series? And you know what I don’t have an answer. I honestly have no idea. I’ve read pretty much every other Rick Riordan book. So I should get on reading this series. I’ve loved every book from Riordan.

Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor: This is another one where I loved the first book and haven’t continued. I tend to do this with Laini Taylor books and I really don’t understand why, because I love them. I really do need to finish this series, but I think I will need to do a re-read.
