Current Kindle Unlimited TBR

Current Kindle Unlimited TBR

September 28, 2020 Posted by angelreads TBR 2 Comments

I love sharing my Kindle Unlimited TBR. Not only do I get to share what I’m excited to read, but sometimes it helps me pick up my next book. I haven’t been reading many Kindle Unlimited books recently as I’ve had a lot of books on my tbr that I wanted to go through. However the past week I’ve picked up a few. Anyway, let’s get right into it. These are the current books that I have with Kindle Unlimited like always these are in no order.

Pestilence (The Four Horsemen #1) by Laura Thalassa: This has been on my TBR for a while, but I just never felt like picking it up. I’ve just started getting more into Paranormal/Fantasy romance, so hopefully, I can pick this one up soon. I have heard some great things about it.

Fire in His Blood (Fireblood Dragon #1) by Ruby Dixon: I feel the same about this one as I do Pestilence. I’ve been wanting to read it for a while, but I have just never got the chance. Hopefully, I can knock it down soon. It sounds interesting and I want to read more romance genre for sure. It’s not something that I would normally pick up, but call me intrigued.

Conquest (Dragon Bones, #1) by Celeste Harte: I don’t know too much about this one, but I saw some review for it and it sounded incredible. I’m always excited when I pick up a book that I have no idea about. It makes for an interesting read and a surprise.

The Player Next Door by K.A. Tucker: I have heard some fantastic things about K.A Tucker and this is one of her books that caught my eye. It sounds intriguing and something that I would love. I normally don’t too much contemporary romacne without it being part of a sub-genre. But I want to read more romance for sure. And this one sounds interesting.

Me + Somebody’s Son: A Heights Story by Christina C. Jones: I know nothing about this book and I mean nothing. All I know is that everyone has been loving it. There is no synopsis for it on Goodreads and even the one on Amazon doesn’t tell me much. But if people that I trust are enjoying it, then I’m giving it a go.

Birthday Shot by Rilzy Adams: This is another one that I have been hearing amazing things about and just want to pick up and read. This is a little short one, but it also sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun.

A Flick Between Friends (On the Clock Series Book 4):A lot of the books currently on this list is because of twitter and other romance bloggers. I don’t know a lot about this one, but it sounds like it’s going to be a fun read. I’ve been hearing some fantastic things about it as well.

Boomer (Ruthless Kings MC #2) by K.L. Savage: I read the first book in this series recently and liked it, but I think I need to read at least one more book in the series before I decided to keep on reading. I like reading MC books, they are a great way to break up my reading and have a little fun.

Wait for It by Mariana Zapata: I’ve been slowly making my way through Mariana Zapata’s books and this is the next one on my list. It sounds fantastic and it currently has such a high rating that it makes me even more excited. I’ve enjoyed reading her books a lot and I think this one is going to be a fantastic read.

Nikolai (The Volkov Empire, #2) by Crystal Daniels and Sandy Alvarez: I’ve been making my way through Crystal and Sandy’s books this year and this is the one that I’m currently up to. It’s an interesting series that one and feels different from the other books that I have read from the duo. Interested to see what happens next.

And those are the books that I currently have out from Kindle Unlimited. What should I read first? Have you read any of these? Let’s Chat!

I have that Christina C Jones book on my TBR too! I’ve had good luck with her books in the past. I enjoyed both of Rilzy Adams’ books that I’ve read so I hope you like them too. I enjoy Zapata’s books but they are too long!

I love K.A. Tucker!! She has some good thrillers as well as some fluffy romances.

I’ve also actually read Pestilence! I enjoyed it. I’ve never been so conflicted with my feelings about a love interest. There’s so much sass and banter and feelings. I’m currently reading Famine

I need to catch up to Mariana Zapata’s books. I’ve read about half?

I have a love-hate relationship with this series. I have a love-hate relationship with this series. But I ended up really enjoying this one. It’s best friends to fake dating to-lovers. It’s always been you, bad-boy/good-girl, and I loved that. While Save Your Breath has quite a few tropes, it really leads itself to it, and it works.

Aleks and Mia have known each other for years now. Since they were teenagers, that angst has been building up this whole time. And you can tell right from the get-go, it’s fantastic. I even wanted more of it, because I love pain. When Aleks went to live with Mia’s family as a teenager, sparks flew, but for many reasons, they both put their feelings aside. And well, now they are not only going to be fake-dating, but they might as well be engaged, too.

I really enjoyed seeing how both Aleks and Mia both tried to hide how they were feeling throughout the whole ‘fake-dating’ situation, but anyone could see it. They know each other as no one else does. Aleks has a lot going on, and while I do think this was brushed over a little too much, Mia is his centre. Mia is a massive music star and is a female in the industry, so yeah, people don’t respect her. Obvsiouly because why couldn’t a female star be badass and write about the things that she has gone through? Aleks and Mia get each other, and that is very clear from the start; they are both just trying to squash everything. We get to see them slowly start to show how they feel, and well, one night it all explodes.

Overall, I enjoyed this one a lot; it’s not my favourite of the series, but I had a great time reading it. I liked Aleks and Mia a lot as characeters and while I think the mental health aspect could have been explored a whole lot more, I can see why it wasn’t. The romance was slow and spicy, the angst was great, and the payoff for these two was what they needed.

And I’m going to be honest here it’s because I’ve been constantly reading Heated Rivalry fanfics. 🤷‍♀️ I’m having the best time though.

How was your reading in February? Any 5 star reads?
