Today I thought I would do something a little different and share what I’m currently watching, reading and listening too at the moment. Also what I’ve finished recently. 

Currently Watching

I’m currently on seasons 4 of CSI: Miami. If you don’t know me, I adore my cop/crime shows. It’s one of the only tv series that I can get into and enjoy watching. During lockdown, I re-watch a few of my favourites and started CSI: Miami. I’m really enjoying it so far and can’t wait to watch it even more. It’s not my favourite crime show out there, but it is interesting and I’m hooked. 

 

Reading 

Just Finished: I just finishing reading Playing with Fire by L.J. Shen I’ve been hesitant to pick up an L.J. Shen book. But this one sounded like something I would enjoy. And I was right. This was a great read, I enjoyed the characters, the plot and the romance. I don’t know how many more books by Shen I will pick up, but I liked reading this one. 

Currently: I’m just over halfway through Hostage to Pleasure by Nalini Singh. This is the fifth book in the Psy-Changeling series. It took me a little while to get into this one, but once I did I remembered why I love this series so much. There have been so many adorable moments throughout this book and they have put a smile on my face. I’m so excited to continue reading it. 

Next Up: The next book that I’m planning to read is The Midnight Lie (The Midnight Lie #1) by Marie Rutkoski. I’m so excited to finally pick this one up. It’s been on my tbr for a while now and I can’t wait. 

 

Listening 

I’m finally listening to audiobooks again. I’ve been pretty good this year and I’ve listened to a good amount. But I went through a stage where I just wasn’t feeling it. But earlier this week I had to be at work early and this gave me the chance to listen to something. I started Shit, Actually: The Definitive, 100% Objective Guide to Modern Cinema by Lindy West. And it’s seriously fantastic. I’m not a massive non-fiction reader, but this is funny and interesting and keeps me hooked. I can’t wait to listen to more. 

I also have a few credits that I need to use on audible. What are some audiobooks that you recommend?
