Young Adult Books I Still Love Recommending

Young Adult Books I Still Love Recommending

August 22, 2023 Posted by angelreads Top Ten Tuesday 7 Comments

This week I’m sharing young adult books that I still love recommending. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish and is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.

I thought I would wind it back today and share some of the young adult books I love and still recommend. If you didn’t know I’m a bookseller, I recommend books every single day. And I thought why not share some of the young adult books that I loved reading and still love, and would recommend today. And while this week is a genre freebie, I decided to play on it a little and share a readership rather than a genre.

So let’s get into it! These are the young adult books that I love and want everyone to read. As always these are in no order.

Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead. | Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days. #1) by Susan Ee. | Daughter of Smoke & Bone. (Daughter of Smoke & Bone. #1) by Laini Taylor. | The Lightning Thief. (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #1) by Rick Riordan.

Pushing the Limits (Pushing the Limits, #1) by Katie McGarry.  | The Winner’s Curse (The Winner’s Trilogy. #1) by Marie Rutkoski. | Cinder. (The Lunar Chronicles. #1) by Marissa Meyer. | Every Breath (Every, #1) by Ellie Marney.

Trial by Fire (Worldwalker, #1) by Josephine Angelini. | And I Darken (The Conqueror’s Saga, #1) by Kiersten White.

And there we go. Those are some of the young adult titles that I loved when I first read them, still do. And still love recommending them now. Have you read any of these? What did you think of them? So, let’s chat!

I have only read Katie McGarry’s book, but I would recommend it as well.

I’ve read and enjoyed all (except for the newest one) of the Percy Jackson books! I was so excited to see that we will get the show in December.

Well February wasn’t the best reading month. I onl Well February wasn’t the best reading month. I only ended up reading 3 books in. 3 pretty fun books but one of my slowest readings months in a while.

And I’m going to be honest here it’s because I’ve been constantly reading Heated Rivalry fanfics. 🤷‍♀️ I’m having the best time though.

How was your reading in February? Any 5 star reads?
