Most Recent Additions to My Book Collection

Most Recent Additions to My Book Collection

Dec 27, 2022

This week I’m sharing the latest books I’ve added to my collection. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish and is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.

So I didn’t get any books this Christmas, mainly because I work at a bookstore so it’s hard to buy me. But I thought I would share some of the recent books I have gotten. I have bought all of these myself. Some were preorders, and some I’ve been wanting for a while. And I can’t wait to read them. I have read quite a few of these which makes it even better.

Let’s get into it. These are some of the most recent books that I have added to my collection. Like always these are in no particular order.

Red, White & Royal Blue: Speical Edition by Casey McQuiston | Lord of Shadows: Special Editon (The Dark Artifices #2) by Cassandra Clare. | I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy. | Chain of Gold (The Last Hours #1) by Cassandra Clare – Barnes and Noble Edition.

Lore Olympus: Volume Three (Lore Olympus Volumes #3) by Rachel Smythe. | Queen of Myth and Monsters (Adrian X Isolde #2) by Scarlett St. Clair. | Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree | The Brawl (Calamity Montana #5) by Willa Nash.

The Awakening (Zodiac Academy #1) by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti.  | Ruthless Fae (Zodiac Academy #2) by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti.

And there we go. Those are just some of the books I have recently added to my collection. Have you read any of these? What did you think of them? What are the books that you have added recently? Let’s chat!

New-To-Me Authors and Books I Want To Try in 2023

New-To-Me Authors and Books I Want To Try in 2023

Dec 22, 2022

As we bring 2022 to a close, I wanted to talk about some of the books I want to try from new-to-me authors in 2023. I’ve spoken a lot about all the new-to-me authors I read this year, but there are so many more that I want to try already, so let’s get a list together.

These are the books from new-to-me authors that I would like to try and read next year. There is a mix of romance genres here. A few are from authors that are more on the popular side as well as a few I haven’t heard much about. And that makes me so excited. I love trying new authors, especially if I enjoy them and read more from them.

So let’s get into it. These are the books from new-to-me authors that I want to read in 2023. And as always these are in no order.

Midnight Kisses by Jeanine Bennedict | The High Mountain Court (The Five Crowns of Okrith #1) by A.K. Mulford | Mile High (Windy City #1) by Liz Tomforde. | The Nanny by Lana Ferguson.

Black Sheep by Brynne Weaver and Alexa Harlowe | The Accidental Pinup by Danielle Jackson. | The Redeemable (The Redeemable #1) by Grace McGinty. | Things We Never Got Over (Knockemout #1) by Lucy Score.

The Stopover (The Miles High Club #1) by T.L. Swan | Promises and Pomegranates (Monsters & Muses #1) by Sav R. Miller. | Hooked (Never After #1) by Emily McIntire. | Haunting Adeline (Cat and Mouse Duet #1) by H.D. Carlton.

And there we go. Those are the books from new-to-me authors that I want to read next year. Some of these books have been on my tbr for a little while and I hope that I can get to them next year and some I’ve just discovered.

Have you read any of these? What did you think of them? What books do you want to read next year from new-to-you authors? So, Let’s chat!

Books I Hope Santa Brings This Year

Books I Hope Santa Brings This Year

Dec 20, 2022

This week I’m sharing the books that I hope to get for Christmas. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish and is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.

It’s been a crazy few weeks. I’m into my 6th year of retail Christmas and it’s exhausting. But I love nothing more than working in a bookstore so it’s also a lot of fun. So for today’s Top Ten Tuesday, I’m sharing the books that I would love to get for Christmas. These are the books on the top of my tbr.

It’s been a pretty up-and-down year for me. But buying and receiving books has been one of the highlights. And creating TBRs and wishlists has been a way for me to work out what I want, especially in physical form. Here is my current full wishlist. I mean I could add hundreds of more books but these are the ones I would love.

So let’s get into it. Some of these books I’ve already read but want physical copies and some I just can’t wait to read. As always these are in no order.

Midnight Kisses by Jeanine Bennedict | Anastasia by Sophie Lark  | The Fallen Men Series by Giana Darling (New Covers). | Lovelight Farms (Lovelight #1) by B.K. Borison.

Find Me (WITSEC #1) by Ashley N. Rostek | Queenie & the Krakens by Aleera Anaya Ceres. | The Bonds That Tie Series by J. Bree. | Lilacs and Leather (Pack Saint Clair #1) by Thora Woods.

Lola & the Millionaires: Part Two (Sweet Omegaverse #3) by Kathryn Moon | Mile High (Windy City #1) by Liz Tomforde.

And there we go. Those are just some of the books that I would love to get for Christmas. I mean I could add so many more books to this list. But I have to stick to 10. What books would you like to get this holiday season? Have you read any of these? And what did you think of them? So, Let’s Chat!

I had such a great time reading this book. I didn’ I had such a great time reading this book. I didn’t know what to expect, but at the same time it was exactly what I wanted.

Driven is an entertaining, suspenseful new adult romance debut that has a second chance romance, is brothers best friend and has fast cars.

It’s one of those books that is perfect for those looking for something that they won’t want to put down, leave them second guessing and wanting more.

It’s full of second changes, finding yourself and falling for the one person that is forbidden.

This is all such a great debut novel that makes me want to read more from Emma J Warrender.
