Kindle Unlimited TBR – February  2022

Kindle Unlimited TBR – February  2022

Feb 17, 2022

I always love doing these posts, and with the new year starting, it’s a perfect time for an updated one. I think Kindle Unlimited is the one subscription that I make use of the most. And I don’t know what I would do without it.

It’s a way that I discover new authors regularly. I’m able to binge read series with a click of a button. I can also re-read books I love as much as I want. Overall, it’s just a great way for me to read without spending all my money on books. I also have very limited space on my bookshelves at the moment, so it’s a great way to save on that. Nevertheless, I just love it.

99% of what I read on KU is romance, but I have seen some more YA and Middle grade popping up on there and that makes me really excited to start reading more of those. Anyways, let’s get right into it. Here is my current Kindle Unlimited tbr. And as always these are in no particular order.

Just Drop Out (Hannaford Prep #1) by J. Bree | The Power of Hades (The Hades Trials #1) by Eliza Raine and Rose Wilson | Torn Apart (Torn and Bound Duet #1) by K. Webster and Nikki Ash | Wolf (The Brotherhood #1) by Penelope Black.

Escaping Conviction (Conviction #1) by Greer Rivers | Falling For Temptation (Good Ol’ Boys #1) by M.J. Hendrix  | The Affair (The Evolution of Sin Trilogy #1) by Giana Darling  | Queen Takes Triune (Their Vampire Queen #6) by Joely Sue Burkhart.

The Stopover (The Miles High Club #1) by T.L. Swan | Demon Pack (Demon Pack #1) by Jaymin Eve and Everly Frost | The Complete Kit Davenport Series (Kit Davenport #1-6.5) by Tate James | Lore & Lust (Lore & Lust #1) by Karla Nikole.

Stanton Adore (Stanton #1) by T.L. Swan | Promises and Pomegranates (Monsters & Muses #1) by Sav R. Miller | Broken Knights (Gifted Academy #4) by Michelle Hercules | From Lukov with Love by Mariana Zapata.

All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata.

And there we go. Those are the books that I currently have out with Kindle Unlimited. What should I read next? Have you read any of these books? What are your thoughts on them? Do you use Kindle Unlimited too? While my current KU is full, what book should I add next? Let’s Chat!

Books Too Good to Review Properly

Books Too Good to Review Properly

Feb 15, 2022

This week I’m sharing the books that were too good that I can’t review properly. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish and is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.

I’ve read a lot of books over the last few years and I don’t have time to review them all, so today I thought I would share the books that I’ve really enjoyed reading but most likely won’t review properly. Sometimes I don’t know how to review a certain book, I just know that I loved it. There are times were I just don’t know what to say. And here are those books. As always these books aren’t in any partulaur order.

King of Battle and Blood (Adrian X Isolde #1) by Scarlett St. Clair | Lola & the Millionaires: Part One and Two (Sweet Omegaverse #2) by Kathryn Moon | Check, Please! Book 1: #Hockey (Check, Please! #1-2) by Ngozi Ukazu | Through the Storm (Le Veq Family #1) by Beverly Jenkins.

The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller | You’d Be Mine by Erin Hahn | A Darker Shade of Magic (Shades of Magic #1) by V.E. Schwab | Sleeping Giants (Themis Files #1) by Sylvain Neuvel.

Heartstopper by Alice Oseman | Lore Olympus: Volume One (Lore Olympus Volumes #1) by Rachel Smythe

And there we go. Those are the books that I love but don’t think I will review properly. Have your read any of these books? What did you think? Are you planning on reading them? What books made your list? Let’s chat!

Angel Reads Turns 10 + My Favourite Books Over the Years

Angel Reads Turns 10 + My Favourite Books Over the Years

Feb 13, 2022

I don’t even know how time has gone. I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since I created Angel Reads. It started as a place where I could write down my thoughts and feelings about the books I was reading. And then I started to make friends, and have amazing conversations with people about all the books.

I become part of fandoms for books, and then I turned my sharing of my thoughts to blogging more. And 10 years later I am still here. I can’t imagine my life without Angel Reads. It has shaped me into who I am today. That might sound cringy, but it’s true.

So to celebrate 10 years of Angel Reads, I wanted to share some of my favourite books from across the years. It’s a really great way to see how my reading has changed over the years. From young adult fantasy and paranormal to contemporary, and now to romances.

I really enjoyed looking back at some of my favourite reads. Most of the time I couldn’t pick one for the year, so I picked about 4 from each year. Enough of all this talk let’s get into it. As always these are in no real order.

Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days #1) by Susan Ee | Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone #1) by Laini Taylor | The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians #1) by Rick Riordan | Hunting Lila (Lila #1) by Sarah Alderson.

Pushing the Limits (Pushing the Limits #1) by Katie McGarry | Full Measures (Flight & Glory #1) by Rebecca Yarros | The Winner’s Curse (The Winner’s Trilogy #1) by Marie Rutkoski | Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices #1) by Cassandra Clare.

Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles #1) by Marissa Meyer | My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick  | Nowhere But Here (Thunder Road #1) by Katie McGarry | Every Breath (Every #1) by Ellie Marney.

Trial by Fire (Worldwalker #1) by Josephine Angelini | Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys | Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices #1) by Cassandra Clare. | And I Darken (The Conqueror’s Saga #1) by Kiersten White.

Six of Crows (Six of Crows #1) by Leigh Bardugo | Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett. | A Darker Shade of Magic (Shades of Magic #1) by V.E. Schwab | Queens of Geek by Jen Wilde.

Sleeping Giants (Themis Files #1) by Sylvain Neuvel | Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy #1) by Richelle Mead. | The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller | Disruption (Disruption #1) by Jessica Shirvington.

Ruined (Ruined #1) by Amy Tintera. | The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros | Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston | Love in the Afternoon (The Hathaways #5) by Lisa Kleypas.

The Kingmaker (All the King’s Men #1) by Kennedy Ryan | Bringing Down the Duke (A League of Extraordinary Women #1) by Evie Dunmore. | This is How We Change the Ending by Vikki Wakefield | Check, Please! Book 1: #Hockey (Check, Please! #1-2) by Ngozi Ukazu.

Kiss of Snow (Psy-Changeling #10) by Nalini Singh | The Viscount Who Loved Me (Bridgertons #2) by Julia Quinn | The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune | The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo.

The Duchess Deal (Girl Meets Duke #1) by Tessa Dare. | Always Only You (Bergman Brothers #2) by Chloe Liese | Lola & the Millionaires: Part One (Sweet Omegaverse #2) by Kathryn Moon |Neon Gods (Dark Olympus #1) by Katee Robert.

The Last Hours by Cassandra Clare | Heartstopper by Alice Oseman

And there we go those are some of my favourite reads over the 10 years. I’m still shocked Angel Reads is still here after all this time. But I am not going anywhere.

I had such a great time reading this book. I didn’ I had such a great time reading this book. I didn’t know what to expect, but at the same time it was exactly what I wanted.

Driven is an entertaining, suspenseful new adult romance debut that has a second chance romance, is brothers best friend and has fast cars.

It’s one of those books that is perfect for those looking for something that they won’t want to put down, leave them second guessing and wanting more.

It’s full of second changes, finding yourself and falling for the one person that is forbidden.

This is all such a great debut novel that makes me want to read more from Emma J Warrender.
