Books In-Sight Melbourne | Event Recap

Last weekend I went to my first romance book signing; Books In-Sight Melbourne, in quite some time. I honestly can’t remember the last time I attended an event like this. Books In-Sight Melbourne is a romance signing event where mostly indie authors come together to meet readers and other authors.

So on the 8th of October, Ely my best friend and fellow blogger at Earl Grey Books made our way to the event. I had a blast at this event even though it was a little smaller than I first thought. I thought it was perfect before I go to RARE Melbourne and BABE in Sydney next year.

It was great meeting all these romance authors. Something I hadn’t really done before. It was just so nice being around people that love and write what I myself love to read. It was so hard not to buy everything. But a few new authors have been added to my tbr for sure.

Prior to the event, I preorder quite a few books from different authors attending. Some from authors I’ve read before and some from new-to-me authors. I also bought a few more books on the day. I thought it was a great way, to sum up, my day. Let’s go.

I’ve Been Pretty Good | September Haul

I’ve been really good the past few months and I haven’t bought a whole heap of books. So today is a combined haul for both August and September. It’s also a combination of books I’ve bought and received.

It’s a good range of books that I have also gotten this month. From new releases to books I’ve been wanting for a while and a few special editions. I’ve only read a few of these books already and just getting physical copies for my collection. I have my first bookish event for some time next book and I already know I’m getting quite a few books there, so be prepared for next month’s haul.

I Didn’t Do Too Bad | July Haul

It’s July Haul time! And you know what? I didn’t do too bad. There were a few preorders that I did that arrived, and a few little purchases here and there. But overall I didn’t do too bad. I’m pretty happy with my purchase this month.

If this haul also doesn’t show the range of romance and young adult I read, not sure what does. I was laughing a little when I was making the graphics. I go from some pretty dark romances to light and fluffy ones. Then to nice and sweet young adult. I find it really interesting.

But I am super excited to read all of these. And some I’ve already read. So let’s get into it. These are the books I got this July.
