Current Kindle Unlimited TBR | June 2024

Jun 9, 2024

It’s been a little while since I have posted but here I am with my current Kindle Unlimited TBR. There are some newer books on here, some books that haven’t been on my tbr before, and some that have been sitting here for a while. Honestly, sometimes a book doesn’t last a day or two before I’m reading and then other times it can sit on my Kindle for months. I am a massive mood reader and if I don’t feel like reading something, it’s not going to be read in that moment.

Anyway, let’s get into it. Here are the books I currently have on my kindle from Kindle Unlimited. As always these are in no real order.

The Throne of Honor and Blood (The Mortal Fates, #2) by J. Bree. |Knot Her Shot (MVP: Most Valuable Pack, #2) by Ari Wright.  | The Dixon Rule. (Campus Diaries, #2) by Elle Kennedy.| To Bleed a Crystal Bloom (Crystal Bloom, #1) by Sarah A. Parker.

Fragile Sanctuary (Sparrow Falls, #1) by Catherine Cowles. | Stalked by Seduction and Shadows by Maggie Sunseri. | Dark Fae (Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac, #1) by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti. | The Secrets in Shadow and Blood (Season of the Vampire, #1) by Lana Pecherczyk.

Vampire’s Fledgling (Blood Vow, #2) by Helen Scott. | Binding 13. (Boys of Tommen, #1) by Chloe Walsh. | Keeping 13 (Boys of Tommen. #2) by Chloe Walsh. | Last Light by Claire Kent.

Divine Rivals (Letters of Enchantment, #1) by Rebecca Ross. | Dragon (The Halloween Boys #2.) by Kat Blackthorne. | The Sinner. (L.O.R.D.S., #2) by Shantel Tessier. | For the Fans by Nyla K.

Brutal Obsession by S. Massery. | The Sinner and the Scholar (The Sinner Sisterhood #1) by Lana Pecherczyk. | Haunting Adeline (Cat and Mouse, #1) by H.D. Carlton. | The Serpent and the Wings of Night (Crowns of Nyaxia, #1) by Carissa Broadbent.

And there we go. Those are all the current books I have out with Kindle Unlimited. Have you read any of these? What did you think of them? What do you think I should read next? So let’s chat!

Unread Books on My Shelves I Want to Read Soon

Unread Books on My Shelves I Want to Read Soon

Apr 23, 2024

This week I’m sharing ten of the unread books on my shelves but want to read soon. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish and is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.

I have quite a big tbr. A very big physical tbr and I read a lot of them, but today I’m sharing some of those unread books that I want to read soon. Like my reading, there is a big of books here. From contemporary romances to fantasy and paranormal and a little dark here and there. I had fun today going through my unread shelves to pick these books out.

So let’s get into it. Here are some of the books that are currently unread on my shelves that I want to try and read soon. As always these are in no real order.

Bride by Ali Hazelwood. | Forget Me Not by Julie Soto. | Tempting Little Thief. (Girls of Greyson #1) by Meagan Brandy. | Moon Touched (Zodiac Wolves, #1) by Elizabeth Briggs.

A Kingdom of Stars and Shadows (Stars and Shadows, #1) by Holly Renee. | If Only You (The Bergman Brothers #6) by Chloe Liese. | A Soul to Heal. (Duskwalker Brides, #2) by Opal Reyne. | Little Fire (Warriors of the Five Realms, #1) by Hollee Mands.

Honey Trap (The Guild, #1) by Tate James. | Losers: Part I (Losers, #1)by Harley Laroux.

And there we go! Those are some of the unread books on my shelves that I’m hoping to read soon. Have you read any of these? What did you think of them? What are you planning to read next? So, let’s chat!

Incompleted Series I Want To Continue in 2024

Incompleted Series I Want To Continue in 2024

Apr 21, 2024

If you didn’t know I love reading series. So today I decided to share some of the incomplete series that I want to continue reading in 2024. Some of these series I started a few years ago and slowly read as the series comes out, and some I’ve just read and now I’m waiting for more.

I’m a massive fan of interconnected contemporary series, so you will see quite a few of them on this list, but fantasy and paranormal series are always a standout for me. I am up to date with most of the series on this list, but I am catching the rest.

Anyway enough of the chit-chat, here are some of the current incomplete series that I want to keep on reading in 2024. And as always they are in no particular order. So, let’s go.

Ironside Academy Series by Jane Washington: I wasn’t expecting to like this series as much as I did. I read the first 3 books one after the other and loved them. So I’m super excited for the next book and waiting for it’s release.

Campus Diaries Series by Elle Kennedy: I didn’t know if I was going to love this new series but Elle Kennedy and I ended up loving the first book, so I cannot wait for more.

Windy City Series by Liz Tomforde: I liked the first book in this series but loved the second and third, so I am super excited to see where this series goes.

Maple Hills Series by Hannah Grace: I’ve enjoyed both Icebreaker and Wildfire quite a lot and I cannot wait to read Daydream. This is definitely going to be one that I read right as it’s released

Tempting Monsters Series by Kathryn Moon: I read the first book in this series last year and enjoyed it a lot. I’ve loved all the other Kathryn Moom books I’ve read so I will be continuing this series for sure.

The Windsors Series by Catharina Maura: I’m a little behind in this series and have already read the first two. But I do want to continue. I am more picky with my contemporary romances, but I have liked the first two books so far.

Duskwalker Brides Series by Opal Reyne: I don’t know why I haven’t continued this series yet. But I want to read at least another one of the books this year. Maybe even catch up with the series. I loved the first one, so I am super excited to read more.

The Mortal Fates Series by J. Bree: I am caught up with this as much as I can, but the second book comes out soon, and I cannot wait for it. It’s one of my most anticipated reads for 2024.

And there we go. Those are some of the incomplete series I am currently reading, and I plan on continuing to read them. Have you read any of these series? What do you think of them? Are you planning on starting any of these? Let’s chat!

I have a love-hate relationship with this series. I have a love-hate relationship with this series. But I ended up really enjoying this one. It’s best friends to fake dating to-lovers. It’s always been you, bad-boy/good-girl, and I loved that. While Save Your Breath has quite a few tropes, it really leads itself to it, and it works.

Aleks and Mia have known each other for years now. Since they were teenagers, that angst has been building up this whole time. And you can tell right from the get-go, it’s fantastic. I even wanted more of it, because I love pain. When Aleks went to live with Mia’s family as a teenager, sparks flew, but for many reasons, they both put their feelings aside. And well, now they are not only going to be fake-dating, but they might as well be engaged, too.

I really enjoyed seeing how both Aleks and Mia both tried to hide how they were feeling throughout the whole ‘fake-dating’ situation, but anyone could see it. They know each other as no one else does. Aleks has a lot going on, and while I do think this was brushed over a little too much, Mia is his centre. Mia is a massive music star and is a female in the industry, so yeah, people don’t respect her. Obvsiouly because why couldn’t a female star be badass and write about the things that she has gone through? Aleks and Mia get each other, and that is very clear from the start; they are both just trying to squash everything. We get to see them slowly start to show how they feel, and well, one night it all explodes.

Overall, I enjoyed this one a lot; it’s not my favourite of the series, but I had a great time reading it. I liked Aleks and Mia a lot as characeters and while I think the mental health aspect could have been explored a whole lot more, I can see why it wasn’t. The romance was slow and spicy, the angst was great, and the payoff for these two was what they needed.

And I’m going to be honest here it’s because I’ve been constantly reading Heated Rivalry fanfics. 🤷‍♀️ I’m having the best time though.

How was your reading in February? Any 5 star reads?
