Senior year should be easy. Unfortunately, it’s going to be anything but that for Julianna Sparks.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Julianna moves in with two of her friends, who also happen to be best friends with the guy she hates. But that’s not the only issue… she’s three weeks into school, and struggling to understand calculus II. Her need to make her parents proud has her willing to do anything, even if it means putting her pride aside to seek tutoring from Landon.

Landon Taylor’s goal of cruising to the end of his senior year falls apart when his best friends take in the girl he hates. Now he’s doing everything in his power to avoid her, and immediately turns her down when she asks him to tutor her. His plan would’ve worked out until an unfortunate circumstance forces him to agree.

Now they’re spending more time together than either one of them would’ve liked. But as time goes on, they realize that maybe being in each other’s company isn’t so bad after all. And that there might be more.

But will they acknowledge what it is before the semester is over, or will they let their mutual hatred stand in their way?

Only With You:

I received an earc of Only With You by E. Salvador in exchange for an honest review, this has in no way influenced my thoughts and feelings about the book.

I knew I would love this one even before I started reading, and I wasn’t wrong. What I love most about E. Salvador and this series so far is that it’s a fantastic combination of romance, heartbreak, wholesome, spicy, gut-wrenching, and will still make you smile. It’s one of those punch-in-the-guts books that makes you laugh out loud but also want to cry with the characters.

Only With You is a hate-to-love college romance that has basketball, music and lots of spice. Julianna is such a fantastic fmc. I liked that she was confident but then she also had her flaws and she was aware of them. And as the book goes on she becomes vulnerable and allows those around her to help her out. Landon is fun. I think that is a great way to explain him. But he is also so reserved. He needs his space, he needs quiet.

The thing is Julianna and Landon, hate each other. And the hate is strong. It’s been building up for years and now, now they are living so close to one another. She lives with some of his best friends. But there is a thin line between hate and love, between these two. And as they spend more time together, well let’s just say it gets a little spicy. (A lot spicy!)

There is a lot of emotional trauma that both Julianna and Landon have gone through, and they don’t realise how much this is truly affecting them. Until they start to lean on one another. I loved seeing them break down with each other. They weren’t fixing one another, but helping heal. And that hit. It was gorgeous.

The spice was hot, the romance was beautiful and I loved seeing the group of friends rally around each other. They are all there for one another, and I think things are about to get even more interesting. I have some thoughts about who might be with who. And I cannot wait to see it all unfold.

Only With You is another gem in this series. If you are looking for a college sports romance, that is emotional, spicy and funny, then this one is it.

Have you read Only With You by E. Salvador yet? What did you think of it? Are you planning on reading it? What about the first book in this series? I’ve also loved sports and college romances but recently I have been loving them again. What are some of the books you’ve been reading lately? Let’s chat!

It’s been a while. Quite some time since I’ve been here, but life gets in the way. I recently returned from an overseas trip and went right back to work. With Christmas coming up soon for retail, it’s about to be one of our busiest times of the year.

But enough about all that today I thought I would slow myself back into this all and share with you my current Kindle Unlimited tbr. You all know by now that I always have all 20 slots filled with KU and so of these books have been sitting on my tbr for a while now. But I’m a massive mood reader and I like options.

Plus it’s always good to have ones that you aren’t too sure about yet downloaded because you can still read them even if they are removed from KU. Anyway, let’s get right into it. Here are the current books that I have out with Kindle Unlimited. As always these are in no real order.

Off the Grid (Full Throttle, #1) by K. Bromberg. | Psycho Shifters (Cruel Shifterverse, #1) by Jasmine Mas. | Knot Her Fight. (MVP: Most Valuable Pack. #3) by Ari Wright. | The Home Wrecker (The Goode Brothers. #2) by Sara Cate.

Bonded by Thorns (Beasts of the Briar, #1) by Elizabeth Helen. | The Wraith King (The Rise of Northgall. #1)by Juliette Cross. | The Games Gods Play. (The Crucible, #1) by Abigail Owen. | Quicksilver (Fae & Alchemy, #1) by Callie Hart.

Disobedient Pawn (The Kings of Wayward Academy, #1) by Brooklyn Cross. | The Sacrifice (L.O.R.D.S., #3) by Shantel Tessier. | Deviant King. (Royal Elite #1) by Rina Kent. | Vengeful Gods by Elliott Rose.

To Bleed a Crystal Bloom (Crystal Bloom, #1) by Sarah A. Parker. | Stalked by Seduction and Shadows by Maggie Sunseri. | The Secrets in Shadow and Blood. (Season of the Vampire, #1) by Lana Pecherczyk. | Divine Rivals (Letters of Enchantment, #1) by Rebecca Ross.

For the Fans by Nyla K. | The Sinner and the Scholar (The Sinner Sisterhood #1) by Lana Pecherczyk. | Haunting Adeline (Cat and Mouse, #1) by H.D. Carlton. | The Serpent and the Wings of Night (Crowns of Nyaxia, #1) by Carissa Broadbent.

And there we go. Those are all the books I currently have out with Kindle Unlimited. Honestly this both changes and stays the same at the same time. When I read something I normally return it and get something else pretty quickly. What do you think I should read from this list? Have you read anything? What did you think? Let’s chat!

Trust doesn’t come easily when you’ve been running for as long as I have, which is why moving in with a man I barely know is such a bad idea.

Shepard Colson is all golden-boy charm and devastating good looks. But I know what it’s like to be taken in by easy smiles and the promise of forever—I have the scars to prove it.

Only the handsome contractor won’t stop coming by the bakery and prying little truths from my lips. Those amber eyes of his seeing far too much. And when all the secrets come crashing down, he’s determined to keep me safe. Even if it means moving into my rundown cabin to do it.

Now, Shep isn’t just rebuilding the walls of my home, he’s working his way into my heart. Suddenly, he’s everywhere: shirtless in my garden or in a towel coming out of my bathroom. And my resolve is no match.

Only it’s more than his golden looks. It’s him. The way he watches for my wounds but tells me I’m stronger than anyone he’s ever known. And I can’t help but fall.

But I should’ve known better than to think I could be happy. Not when a ghost from my past still has me in his sights. And when he finds me, he’ll do anything to tear my life apart, even if it means ending it for good…

Delicate Escape:

So I have been slowly making my way through Catherine Cowles’s books and backlist and Delicate Escape is one of the best that I have read. My heart broke and was repaired so many times through this one but in the end, it was all good.

I absolutely adored Shep in the first book and I knew from the moment that Thea entered the picture that they were perfect for one another. The heartbreak that they both have endured drives them together and connects them in a way that makes everything work so well.

Shep is so protective, but not in a bad way at all. It’s how he loves and after we find out a few things about his life, we really understand why. On the other hand, Thea has been through a lot. A messed up situation and has absolutely torn everything about her. She is still picking up the pieces and not really putting them back together. Both Shep and Thea really do need each other and it isn’t because they are dependent on each other but because they make each other better.

I loved and adored seeing Thea grow throughout the book, I just wanted to give her a warm hug and tell her it might not be okay now but it will be. But Shep was there to do it for me. I loved loved seeing them together. Shep had to tread carefully but as they got to know each other little by little it was perfect.

One of the things I like about Catherine’s books is that I can figure out some things, but then other times things just take me in a whole new direction. I like that Catherine has put in those clues that allows the reader to work some things out.

Overall I adored Delicate Escape. It’s steamy, heartbreaking and might just tear you apart but it will put you back together. Shep and Thea are made for each other and put a massive smile on my face. I’m so excited to see who the next book is about because I’m loving Catherine Cowles’s work and I cannot wait for more.

Have you read this one yet? What did you think about it? Are you planning on reading anything Catherine Cowles? This is my 4th Catherine Cowles series that I am on so I am very excited. Let’s chat!

I have a love-hate relationship with this series. I have a love-hate relationship with this series. But I ended up really enjoying this one. It’s best friends to fake dating to-lovers. It’s always been you, bad-boy/good-girl, and I loved that. While Save Your Breath has quite a few tropes, it really leads itself to it, and it works.

Aleks and Mia have known each other for years now. Since they were teenagers, that angst has been building up this whole time. And you can tell right from the get-go, it’s fantastic. I even wanted more of it, because I love pain. When Aleks went to live with Mia’s family as a teenager, sparks flew, but for many reasons, they both put their feelings aside. And well, now they are not only going to be fake-dating, but they might as well be engaged, too.

I really enjoyed seeing how both Aleks and Mia both tried to hide how they were feeling throughout the whole ‘fake-dating’ situation, but anyone could see it. They know each other as no one else does. Aleks has a lot going on, and while I do think this was brushed over a little too much, Mia is his centre. Mia is a massive music star and is a female in the industry, so yeah, people don’t respect her. Obvsiouly because why couldn’t a female star be badass and write about the things that she has gone through? Aleks and Mia get each other, and that is very clear from the start; they are both just trying to squash everything. We get to see them slowly start to show how they feel, and well, one night it all explodes.

Overall, I enjoyed this one a lot; it’s not my favourite of the series, but I had a great time reading it. I liked Aleks and Mia a lot as characeters and while I think the mental health aspect could have been explored a whole lot more, I can see why it wasn’t. The romance was slow and spicy, the angst was great, and the payoff for these two was what they needed.
