Endless by Devyn Sinclair

ISBN: 9798889650508
Purchase: Amazon UK – Amazon US – Amazon AU

What do you do when your sister’s getting married and your ex is the best man?

Being dumped sucks. Being dumped after four years and getting kicked out of the house? That sucks more.

Sadly, I can’t avoid him forever. Not when he’s the best man in my sister’s wedding. But like hell am I facing him alone?

So how can a painfully single Omega get out of this mess? Not a clue, but I’ll tell you what not to do. Ready?

Don’t hire a pack of male escorts to take you to the wedding. If you do, you can’t sleep with them. No matter how incredible they smell or how well they treat you.

Definitely don’t let them take care of you, and don’t let them show you pleasure you’ve never had before.

And you absolutely cannot, under any circumstances, fall in love with them. They’re not yours.

Because when everything is said and done, this is just pretend… right?

Endless is a standalone reverse harem Omegaverse. No choosing, no cheating, and a guaranteed HEA! This book is part of a series of standalones and can be enjoyed on its own, without reading any other books in the series. Check out content warnings here.

Endless:

I received an e-arc of Endless by Devyn Sinclair in exchange for an honest review, this has in no way influenced my thoughts and feelings about the book.

I’ve been reading quite a few of Devyn’s books over the last year and have been really enjoying her Omegaverse books, and then she announced that she was starting a new series, I knew that I needed in.

Endless was a blast to read, it had so many things that I love and that made it such a fantastic read. From fake dating to scent matching and an omega that melts when she is with her Alphas. A solid start to the series, Endless is just the beginning and I cannot wait to see where the rest of the series goes.

Endless follows Isolde as she returns home for her sister’s wedding, but she doesn’t return alone. She hires a group of escorts, to pretend to be her new pack in front of her family and her horrible ex-boyfriend. Right away, we know this pack is made for Isolde and as the book goes on so starts to realise the same. But her past relationship was pretty horrible, and coming to terms with the fact this pack could love her.

There are so many things that I liked about this one. The romance was a lot of fun, but also very emotional. It was a fantastic balance between these two as well. We could see how much the men loved getting to know Isolde but also loved pushing her. They were great for her.

I liked that all the men challenged Isolde throughout the book, one of my favourite things about this, was the conversations about consent and what each of them liked. And done fantastically.

You know the books that just make you smile for most of the book? Endless is one of those. We see a lot of heartbreak and a lot of realisation in this one, but it makes an impact and I love that. I like that the omegaverse was different to her others which I found very interesting but also cool. We have this new world to fall into and learn more and more about.

Her friendship group was also pretty solid, I do wish we got to see them a little more, but I know that their books are coming so I am ready for them that is for sure.

I do wish that Isolde realised a lot of things earlier and not just that grew from them. At times, I felt that it took her quite some time to realise just how bad her ex treated her but also didn’t grow much from finding out and understanding what happened. I would have loved to see a little more growth in who she was.

With a lot of why choose, sometimes it is hard to work out who is who, especially when you don’t have a lot of time with each of the males. While it wasn’t bad this one per se, at times I did get a little confused and they blended. Most of the time I liked the relationship with her family, but sometimes I felt disconnected from them. We got to see a of her sister, but not a lot of her parents.

Endless was a fantastic read. It’s one of those omegaverse books that is just to read and fall into quickly. I am very excited for the rest of the series and to see what this world is going to bring. If you are looking for an omegaverse to start with, I would highly recommend anything from Devyn.

I loved Isolde and her boys and they warmed my heart that is for sure. We get to see these men sweep her off her feet slowly but surely and it was great.

And there we go, I enjoyed reading Endless and I’m excited for more. Have you read Endless by Devyn Sinclair yet? What did you think of it? Have you read anything from Devyn? What are you currently reading? Let’s chat!

A Slow and Steady Month | February Wrap Up

Posted by angelreads Monthly Wrap Up No Comments

So it’s been a while since you have seen me. Over the past few weeks, I’ve had some problems with Angel Reads. But I’m hoping we are getting somewhere with it. So to get back into it, I thought I would share the books I read in February.

It’s honestly not been a fantastic start to the year and I’m not reading as much as I usually do, but I’m going steady. I read 15 books in February, which is a steady number for me. I did do a few re-reads as I was feeling myself falling into a slump. But I do hope that I am finally getting out of it.

So let’s get into it, here are the books that I read this February. As always these are in no real order.

Ghost (The Halloween Boys #1) by Kat Blackthorne – 3.5 Stars Reread. | Spare (The Beta Trials #1) by Violet Fox. – 3 Stars | Saved (The Beta Trials #2) by Violet Fox. – 3 Stars. | Diver’s Heart by K.A. Knight – 3.5 Stars Reread.

Spark of Fate (Shifting Fate, #1) by Tessa Hale – 4 Stars. | Mark of Stars (Shifting Fate, #2) by Tessa Hale. – 3.5 Stars. | Bond of Destiny (Shifting Fate, #3) by Tessa Hale. – 4 Stars. | Endless by Devyn Sinclair – 4 Stars.

Rookie Move (Brooklyn Bruisers, #1) by Sarina Bowen – 4 Stars Reread. | Hard Hitter (Brooklyn Bruisers, #2) by Sarina Bowen – 3.5 Stars Reread. | Pipe Dreams (Brooklyn Bruisers, #3) by Sarina Bowen – 4 Stars Reread. | Enigma (Enigma #1) by Shandi Boyes – 3.5 Stars.

Unraveling an Enigma by Shandi Boyes – 3.5 Stars. | Unraveling an Enigma (Enigma #2) by Shandi Boyes – 3.5 Stars. | The Mystery Unmasked (Enigma #3) by Shandi Boyes – 3 Stars. | The Final Chapter (Enigma #4) by Shandi Boyes. – 3.5 Stars.

And there we go, those are all the books that I read this February. As you can see it was an okay month, but wish I was able to read a few more things but still had a good time. What did you read last month? What was your favourite read? So, let’s chat!

Contemporary Romances on My TBR

Posted by angelreads Top Ten Tuesday 3 Comments

This week I’m sharing some of the contemporary romances that are on my tbr. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish and is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.

This week is a love freebie week for Top Ten Tuesday, so I decided to share some of the contemporary romances on my tbr.

Contemporary romances aren’t always on the top of my tbr. I like my romances with a little something more whether a darker romance or a fantasy. But I’ve been slowly reading more and more of them. I am more picky with what I read when it comes to contemporary romances, but if I find an author that I love, I tend to read more from their list.

So let’s get into it, here are the contemporary romances on my tbr. As always these are in no real order.

Off to the Races (Gold Rush Ranch, #1) by Elsie Silver | Behind the Net (Vancouver Storm, #1) by Stephanie Archer. | Tattered Stars (Tattered & Torn, #1) by Catherine Cowles. | Dare to Kiss You (The Donnellys of Dogwood Cove #1) by Julia Jarrett.

Long Shot (Hoops, #1) by Kennedy Ryan | If Only You (The Bergman Brothers Book 6) by Chloe Liese. | Next of Kin (Next, #1) by Hannah Bonam-Young. | The Game Changer by Lana Ferguson.

Love Redesigned (Lakefront Billionaires, #1) by Lauren Asher | Shooting to Win (Pierson U, #2) by Elouise Tynan

And there we go, those are just some of the contemporary romances that are currently on my tbr that I cannot wait to read. Have you read any of these? What did you think of them? What books made it onto your list this week? So, let’s chat!

Yeah, this is what I wanted. I really enjoyed Vict Yeah, this is what I wanted. I really enjoyed Victoria Wilder’s Bourbon Boys series, and as soon as I heard she was writing a new series, around whiskey and women. Well, hell year. It took me a little bit to get into the book, but after a few chapters, I was hooked.

Wyn is hiding, hiding from everyone, even when she is there. She is hiding behind so much, and damn, I don’t blame her. We don’t know everything from the start, but we start piecing things together, and my heart broke. And I was terrified for her. But she is a Crowne woman, and that means something.

We’ve met Julian before, and while he intrigued me before, I am invested now. He is charming, secretive in the best way and will do anything at this point for Wyn. But he is also lost, and somehow he finds his way to Rumour and back into Wyn’s life.

The romance is hot and steamy and everything that you want. The tension and chemistry in this one is high. Neither Wyn nor Julian wants to really give in or give up on one another, but a lot is standing in their way, honestly, mainly themselves. I just sat there giggling half the time because they are swoon-worthy.

I would say this is the darkest Victoria Wilder book I’ve read, so double-check those trigger warnings before jumping in because there is a lot that happens. And I don’t think it’s going to die down any time soon because these Crowne women are badass, and I know things are only just getting started.

Overall, Rumors & Whiskey is hot and sexual. The tension is dripping off the page, and then you are thrown into the terror and horrors of Rumour. You don’t know what is going to happen next, you don’t know who to trust, and there are so many more secrets that have yet to be revealed. I know I am ready for more. Are you?

Thank you to @atriabooksaus for an earc of Rumors & Whiskey 🥃. I’m in love.

March was a better reading month than February for March was a better reading month than February for me, and while I’m still stuck in my heated rivalry fanfiction era I managed to scrap out of it a little this month.

I reread four books from the sweet omegaverse series and honestly had the best time. I also read two of my most anticipated reads of the year and had a blast. Sadly I did also have my first dnf of the year.

What did you read this March? Any standouts? What are you looking forward to reading in April? Let’s chat!
