Being the first female Formula 1 driver in the sport’s history is like being struck by lightning. Powerful, electrifying, and dangerous. Don’t get me wrong, it’s incredible. Plenty of racing fans are celebrating. Plenty more are enraged, hoping I either quit or crash.

They can hope all they want. I’ll never quit.

But there’s more than Formula 1 fans to worry about. Like shaking hands with my Team Principal for the first time and his scent turning my entire world upside down. Like the rest of his pack—including the current Formula 1 champion—matching with me too. One breath, and we belong to each other, body and soul.

In their arms I’m more than just a racer. I’m an Omega. I’m safe with them. For the first time, I can be what my designation craves instead of what my sport demands. Soft, spoiled, pleasured, and loved. Their fierce desire to win is only matched by one thing—their passion for me.

But the rookie Omega in a pack with her boss, the champion, and her crew is a PR disaster of global proportions, and I won’t be the only one with a target on my back. If the five us want to make it through the racing season? No one can ever know.

Just Drive:

I received a copy of Just Drive by Devyn Sinclair for review in exchange for an honest review. This has in no way influenced my thoughts and feelings about the book.

So, I’m a massive F1 fan. Add to that an omegaverse with a female driver and a why choose, yer I was gone from the start. I think this is one of my favourite Devyn Sinclair books to date. I was hooked, and I could not stop reading.

Just Drive follows Vanessa, who is about to become the first female F1 driver to have a full seat. She is so ready for it; it’s all she has ever wanted, but Vanessa also knows that it’s not going to be an easy ride. What she doesn’t expect is that her new Team Principal is one of scent matches. And he just happens to have a pack. And things are about to get a whole lot more interesting. Especially since one of the pack members just so happens to be another driver.

From the start, I knew I was going to love this book. I had everything that I loved, and as I kept on reading, I just kept on wanting more. Being an omega, Vanessa has found it a little tough, but being a female driver is, I would say, a little harder. In a male-dominated sport, Vanessa really has to stand her ground and has to show everyone that she can drive with the best. Because she is, I adored Vanessa as the FMC. She is strong and tough, but she also has these emotions that pulled at my heart.

Now, let’s get into her pack. First, we have Team Principal Grayson and the leader of the pack. He falls for Vanessa so quickly, I loved it. This manly man just crumbles for her. Yes please. River is the current F1 world champion and is racing for another team. His always had a little crush on Vanessa, so this is like Christmas for him. Then we have Beck, who is her Race Engineer and who has a smooth voice. The last one to round up this pack is Elias, Mechanic for the team and oh so sweet. The only Beta of the back, but he falls for Vanessa all the same.

I adored the romance in Just Drive. It’s that perfect combination of being sweet and steamy. Each man helped Vanessa and was there for her in different ways. And together, they are the perfect team. I do wish the start was a little slower. Maybe if they wait just a few more days. I feel like they jumped into it a little too quickly. Other than that, I loved the romance a lot, I think this has to be one of the hottest of Devyn Sinclair’s books I’ve read!

There were parts of this book that were intense, and I loved it. We were left enough bread crumbs to figure out what was happening, and it was satisfying when things started to come together. The romantic suspense elements of Just Drive weren’t the focus, but they drove the book along and were a nice touch.

I really enjoyed the F1 elements of this book a lot. It was all pretty accurate, there was enough in it that there was driving, and all the behind-the-scenes stuff wasn’t glossed over. It wasn’t just the glitz and the glamour. We were able to see all the hard work as well. I’ve read a few F1 romances now, and this has to be one of my favourites.

Overall, I loved Just Drive. It was hot and steamy but also sweet and felt like a warm hug. It was full of emotional and amazing representations of women in fields that are heavily male-dominated. If you are looking for a new omegaverse that is a little different plus has an empowering female lead, a found family and a little romantic suspense, then pick Just Drive up. You will not be disappointed.

Have you read Just Drive yet? What did you think of it? Are you planning on picking it up? Are you an omegaverse reader? So, let’s chat!

Standing in front of a dragon means dying by fire, but the heart knows there’s more than one way to burn.

Humans and dragons are at war, and I am a pawn in the battle.

Princess of a dying land, my life is not my own, and a marriage to a vicious, dragon-hunting prince will save my people from deadly famine or death by fire.

But before I can vow my life to a monster, dragons drop screaming from the sky with a single aim. End the alliance. Kill me. I welcome the flames, relieved to burn instead of rot.

But the flames never come.

One look in the dragons’ eyes, and they carry me away. Three dragons whose gaze burns with hunger and fills me with fire.

They’re not what we were taught, and every passing day I learn more of the truth. Dragons are not the enemy we thought they were.

Still, one question for centuries no one has stood before a dragon and survived. If these dragons were sent to kill me, why am I still alive?

Beautiful Beast is the first book in a why choose trilogy. All content warnings are available on the author’s website.

Beautiful Beast:

I received an earc of Beautiful Beast by Devyn Sinclair in exchange for an honest review. This has in no way influenced my thoughts and feelings about the book.

It’s rare that I don’t love a Devyn Sinclair book and today wasn’t that day. I didn’t know what to expect when I started reading Beautiful Beast, I honestly didn’t even really read the synopsis, but as soon as I started it, I knew I was going to love it. It has dragons, mates, princesses, enemies to lovers and so much more.

Beautiful Beast follows Lena as she is about to marry a neighbouring Prince, but the dragons have other plans that go a little array. And instead of being killed Lena is taken captive. And that is when all the fun begins. Unable to fill their mate, Endre, Sirrius and Zovai now have a little problem on their hands, but they can’t help but fall for Lena, she is not only their mate, but something so much more.

I loved Lena from the moment I started reading, she is a bad*** princess who’s strong-minded, will say what she is thinking and happens to fall for 3 dragons. Endre, Sirrius and Zovai were also fantastic, I liked they each had their own personality and their own stories. They have all been through hell, each in a different way. And I’m excited to see where they are taken.

The side characters were also fantastic. I sometimes feel that they can be left behind, but I think they added some really good scenes and character growth for all of them throughout the book. I will also say that I would like a Varí for myself, thank you very much.

Things did move faster and slow down all at the same time. This is so hard to explain, for about 80% of the book I felt like not much happened plot-wise. There was heaps of character development which I loved! I thought it was necessary, but not a lot happened. And then everything happened. I would have liked it to be paced a little bit better. But honestly, it wasn’t a massive deal.

I have always really enjoyed Devyn’s writing style and plot and this was no different. There is something very easy about their writing that makes the book flow easily and makes for a great reading experience. I loved the world that Devyn has created here and I am excited to explore it that little bit more. It was slow in the world-building, but I think that fits the book and series quite well.

The ending though! If you are not good with cliffhangers, maybe reading this book right now isn’t for you. It was done fantastically though. I honestly wasn’t able to put the book down and I just wanted to know what was going to happen next. And now I have to wait!! I knew I was going to like this book, but I didn’t know how excited I was going to be for the rest of the series. And impatient.

Overall I loved reading Beautiful Beast by Devyn Sinclair, it has high stakes, dragons, fated mates and a why-choose romance that hits all the right spots. I cannot wait to read more in this series and it’s going to be fantastic, I can already tell. If you are looking for a new paranormal/fantasy romance series to pick up, this one might just be it.

What do you do when your sister’s getting married and your ex is the best man?

Being dumped sucks. Being dumped after four years and getting kicked out of the house? That sucks more.

Sadly, I can’t avoid him forever. Not when he’s the best man in my sister’s wedding. But like hell am I facing him alone?

So how can a painfully single Omega get out of this mess? Not a clue, but I’ll tell you what not to do. Ready?

Don’t hire a pack of male escorts to take you to the wedding. If you do, you can’t sleep with them. No matter how incredible they smell or how well they treat you.

Definitely don’t let them take care of you, and don’t let them show you pleasure you’ve never had before.

And you absolutely cannot, under any circumstances, fall in love with them. They’re not yours.

Because when everything is said and done, this is just pretend… right?

Endless is a standalone reverse harem Omegaverse. No choosing, no cheating, and a guaranteed HEA! This book is part of a series of standalones and can be enjoyed on its own, without reading any other books in the series. Check out content warnings here.

Endless:

I received an e-arc of Endless by Devyn Sinclair in exchange for an honest review, this has in no way influenced my thoughts and feelings about the book.

I’ve been reading quite a few of Devyn’s books over the last year and have been really enjoying her Omegaverse books, and then she announced that she was starting a new series, I knew that I needed in.

Endless was a blast to read, it had so many things that I love and that made it such a fantastic read. From fake dating to scent matching and an omega that melts when she is with her Alphas. A solid start to the series, Endless is just the beginning and I cannot wait to see where the rest of the series goes.

Endless follows Isolde as she returns home for her sister’s wedding, but she doesn’t return alone. She hires a group of escorts, to pretend to be her new pack in front of her family and her horrible ex-boyfriend. Right away, we know this pack is made for Isolde and as the book goes on so starts to realise the same. But her past relationship was pretty horrible, and coming to terms with the fact this pack could love her.

There are so many things that I liked about this one. The romance was a lot of fun, but also very emotional. It was a fantastic balance between these two as well. We could see how much the men loved getting to know Isolde but also loved pushing her. They were great for her.

I liked that all the men challenged Isolde throughout the book, one of my favourite things about this, was the conversations about consent and what each of them liked. And done fantastically.

You know the books that just make you smile for most of the book? Endless is one of those. We see a lot of heartbreak and a lot of realisation in this one, but it makes an impact and I love that. I like that the omegaverse was different to her others which I found very interesting but also cool. We have this new world to fall into and learn more and more about.

Her friendship group was also pretty solid, I do wish we got to see them a little more, but I know that their books are coming so I am ready for them that is for sure.

I do wish that Isolde realised a lot of things earlier and not just that grew from them. At times, I felt that it took her quite some time to realise just how bad her ex treated her but also didn’t grow much from finding out and understanding what happened. I would have loved to see a little more growth in who she was.

With a lot of why choose, sometimes it is hard to work out who is who, especially when you don’t have a lot of time with each of the males. While it wasn’t bad this one per se, at times I did get a little confused and they blended. Most of the time I liked the relationship with her family, but sometimes I felt disconnected from them. We got to see a of her sister, but not a lot of her parents.

Endless was a fantastic read. It’s one of those omegaverse books that is just to read and fall into quickly. I am very excited for the rest of the series and to see what this world is going to bring. If you are looking for an omegaverse to start with, I would highly recommend anything from Devyn.

I loved Isolde and her boys and they warmed my heart that is for sure. We get to see these men sweep her off her feet slowly but surely and it was great.

And there we go, I enjoyed reading Endless and I’m excited for more. Have you read Endless by Devyn Sinclair yet? What did you think of it? Have you read anything from Devyn? What are you currently reading? Let’s chat!

March was a better reading month than February for March was a better reading month than February for me, and while I’m still stuck in my heated rivalry fanfiction era I managed to scrap out of it a little this month.

I reread four books from the sweet omegaverse series and honestly had the best time. I also read two of my most anticipated reads of the year and had a blast. Sadly I did also have my first dnf of the year.

What did you read this March? Any standouts? What are you looking forward to reading in April? Let’s chat!

I have a love-hate relationship with this series. I have a love-hate relationship with this series. But I ended up really enjoying this one. It’s best friends to fake dating to-lovers. It’s always been you, bad-boy/good-girl, and I loved that. While Save Your Breath has quite a few tropes, it really leads itself to it, and it works.

Aleks and Mia have known each other for years now. Since they were teenagers, that angst has been building up this whole time. And you can tell right from the get-go, it’s fantastic. I even wanted more of it, because I love pain. When Aleks went to live with Mia’s family as a teenager, sparks flew, but for many reasons, they both put their feelings aside. And well, now they are not only going to be fake-dating, but they might as well be engaged, too.

I really enjoyed seeing how both Aleks and Mia both tried to hide how they were feeling throughout the whole ‘fake-dating’ situation, but anyone could see it. They know each other as no one else does. Aleks has a lot going on, and while I do think this was brushed over a little too much, Mia is his centre. Mia is a massive music star and is a female in the industry, so yeah, people don’t respect her. Obvsiouly because why couldn’t a female star be badass and write about the things that she has gone through? Aleks and Mia get each other, and that is very clear from the start; they are both just trying to squash everything. We get to see them slowly start to show how they feel, and well, one night it all explodes.

Overall, I enjoyed this one a lot; it’s not my favourite of the series, but I had a great time reading it. I liked Aleks and Mia a lot as characeters and while I think the mental health aspect could have been explored a whole lot more, I can see why it wasn’t. The romance was slow and spicy, the angst was great, and the payoff for these two was what they needed.

Well February wasn’t the best reading month. I onl Well February wasn’t the best reading month. I only ended up reading 3 books in. 3 pretty fun books but one of my slowest readings months in a while.

And I’m going to be honest here it’s because I’ve been constantly reading Heated Rivalry fanfics. 🤷‍♀️ I’m having the best time though.

How was your reading in February? Any 5 star reads?
