I’ve been reading a lot of new authors and books this year and I thought it would be fun to share the authors that I think could become my favourites. From YA authors to romance, this mix of authors I’ve loved the books that I have already picked up and expect I will do it for more books to come. Anyway, let’s get into it. Like always these are in no order. 

Elizabeth Acevedo: I recently just finished With The Fire on High and adored it. It’s brilliant. Then there is The Poet X which was a 5 star read for me. Both of the books that I have read are high on my favourites list. They are beautifully written, her voice is incredible and I can’t wait to read more from her. I’ll be reading Clap When You Land in the next week and I expect to love it just as much. 

Chloe Liese: I recently picked up two of Chloe’s books and adored them both. I love that they include a range of disabilities. I love seeing in it general, but seeing it in books that I also love reading is pretty amazing. The romances were both fantastic, all the character were such a pleasure and I can’t wait to read more. Beverly Jenkins: I’ve now read 3 books from Jenkins and adored each one. They have made me smile, laugh and cry. They have kept me hooked right from the start. I just want to keep on reading. I can’t wait to read more of her backlist. You can check out my review of Rebel, Through the Storm and Winds of the Storm.

Sarah MacLean: I think it’s no surprise that Sarah MacLean is on my list. I just feel in love with her characters, her romances and everything else. I’m currently reading Brazen and the Beast and loving it so much. I can’t wait to read other books from her and see how it goes. 

Nalini Singh: I don’t think it’s a surprise that Nailia has hopped onto this list. I recently just picked up the first two books in the Psy-Changeling series and immediately bought the next 3. I loved them both so much. The world is fantastic, the characters are so intriguing and did I mention leopard cubs. I can’t deal. 

Sabrina Jeffries: Again I don’t think anyone will be surprised that Sabrina has made it onto my list. But I do want to read other books from different series from her. In saying that I loved all the books I’ve currently read from her and have a few already picked out to read next.
