It’s time for anything another tag. Today I’m doing something a little different and doing the ‘your answers can’t be books’ tag. This tag was created by Book Buds and I was tagged by my best friend Ely and Earl Grey Books.
I don’t talk much about things that aren’t related to books and reading so this tag was quite fun to do. And lets you know a little bit more about me. So let’s get right into it
1. What is something that you own way too many of, other than books?
This has to be a tie between two things. My funko pops and art and graphics. My family collects funko mainly marvel so we have Ummm quite a few of those. And I love art pieces that are both fandom-related or just beautiful pieces.

2. What is something that you do for fun that’s not reading a book?
I really like going to find places to eat and finding new places to hang with Ely. There are so many restaurants and places to eat here in Melbourne that it’s never-ending. And while we’ve been in lockdown I’ve just added more and more to my list. So I’m super excited to go out and eat soon.
3. What is something special or important on your nightstand, that’s not a book?
I actually don’t have much on my nightstand, but I do have a diffuser that I particularly like. It’s great when I just need a little something more.
4. What’s something that you buy at a bookstore other than books?
Honestly not a lot, but the few things I might get here are there are bookmarks, bags or things fandom related. But I never really buy anything else at bookstores.

5. What’s a fun gift that you’ve received that wasn’t a book or a gift card for books?
Oh, I love gift cards to most things, especially when I never have an idea of what I want. But anything from clothing stores gift cards or flight gift cards.
6. What’s a YouTube channel that you watch/Blog you read, that’s not related to books?
So many. But some of my favourites are; Marion’s Kitchen; she is a fantastic cooking channel that I have been watching for years. I’ve cooked quite a few of her recipes and loved them so much.
And there we go. That is this tag, done and dusted. I’m tagging anyone that wants to do this. What are your answers to these questions? Do you do anything the same as me? Let’s Chat!

This week I’m sharing the quotes that I love from characters. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish and is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.
This was a really fun post to do. It got me really thinking, I had to try and remember some of those quotes that just hit me hard and fast. There are a mix of different books and genre’s here and I really love that. I tried to also pick quotes from some of my favourite books. Let’s get right into this. Like always these are in no order.

“Because despite how much he’d hurt me, despite his betrayal and everything it had caused, I still fucking loved him with my whole sullied soul.”
– Hades, Timber by Tate James
“I’ll give you the world,” he said against my mouth. “The moon. The fucking stars. Anything you ask, it’s yours. I’m yours.”
– Aaron, The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas

“And then suddenly he was there, charging down the hallway like death in a cowboy duster.”
– Rose, Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
“I like how you smile and how you laugh. I like how you love and defend your family and I like how you’re trying to love mine I love how you trust. But mostly, Emily, I like how I feel when I’m around you.”
– Oz, Nowhere but Here by Katie McGarry
“Love can’t cure a mental illness. There are lots of ways to help him, you can just be there. To listen. To talk To cheer him up if he’s having a bad day. And on the bad days, you can ask what to could do to make things easier. Stand by his side, even when things are hard. But also knowing that sometimes people need more support than just one person can give. That’s love darling.”
– Sarah Nelson (Nick’s mum), Heartstopper Vol 4 by Alice Oseman

“I wish I’d been born in another time, another place. Then maybe I could’ve escaped fate… maybe I could’ve been your darling.”
– Sascha Duncan, Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling #1) by Nalini Singh
I’d never known what it was to be held before that. Never knew what it was to have someone hold you so tenderly that you feared you might just collapse into fragments of who you once were without their touch.
– Queen Audra, A King so Cold (Royals #1) by Ella Fields
“You’re a King who makes her want to be his rough-and-tumble Queen.”
– Cressida, Lessons in Corruption (The Fallen Men #1) by Giana Darling

“I only know that learning to believe in the power of my own words has been the most freeing experience of my life. It has brought me the most light. And isn’t that what a poem is? A lantern glowing in the dark.”
– Xiomara Batista, The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo
“You’re too precious to put into words. I think … it’s like one of Theodore’s buttons. If you asked him why he cared about them so, he would tell you it’s because they exist at all.”
– Arthur Parnassus, The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune
