This week I’m sharing some of the books on my spring tbr. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish and is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.

I can’t believe it’s already the middle of September. It’s honestly crazy how quickly this year has gone. And now that this gorgeous weather is hitting Melbourne, it’s feeling like spring.  So for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday, I’m sharing the books on my spring TBR.

There are a mix of books on the list today. Some are new books from authors and series I love. Some are some books that have been on my TBR for a little while now. I’m trying to read as many books from my TBR this September and I’m doing pretty okay so far, so hoping I can get a few more down. But there are also so many books I’m excited to read coming out as well.

So let’s get right into it. Here are ten books that I want to read this Spring. As always these are in no real order.

Iron Flame (The Empyrean. #2) by Rebecca Yarros. – Fourth Wing Review. | Hopeless (Chestnut Springs. #5) by Elsie Silver. | Madame. (Salacious Players’ Club #6) by Sara Cate. | The Broken Vows (The Windsors #4) Catharina Maura.

New-To-Me Authors I’ve Read In 2023 | Part 3

New-To-Me Authors I’ve Read In 2023 | Part 3

Sep 14, 2023

One of the things that I love about reading is trying new-to-me authors and last year I read quite a few of those. I have already read a good chunk this year, and we have a few more months to go. But I didn’t want to just read new-to-me authors, but I wanted to share them with you as well.

So I decided to start a series where I talk a little bit about the new-to-me authors I’ve been reading. You can check out part one and part two now. Reading authors that I haven’t read before is always daunting and exciting at the same time. I am so excited to try an author I haven’t read before. It’s always a risk, but so many times that risk pays off.

So let’s get right into it. Here are more of the new-to-me authors I’ve been reading in 2023. Sometimes I find them through recommendations and sometimes they just pop up as suggestions. And as always these are in no particular order.

Heather Renee: I had the chance to meet Heather earlier this year at BABE. And I knew I wanted to read a few of her books before the event. I ended up reading her Luna Marked series and enjoyed it quite a bit. I picked up a few of her books up from the event and cannot wait to dig in.

Emily Rath: Emily has been all over TikTok the last few months, and earlier this year I picked up That One Night and Pucking Around and enjoyed them. I have since picked up the next book in the series and plan on reading some of her historical fiction.

Angel Lawson and Samantha Rue: I’m including these two together because I’ve only read the books books they have written together. I really enjoyed their The Royals of Forsyth University series. I’ve read the first two completed series and plan to read the rest. They are dark, and sexy and sometimes just what I want.

Devyn Sinclair: This is another author that I picked up for an event. This time it was for RARE Melbourne at the start of the year. I knew I was going to like this author right away, and then I met her in person and she was just as nice. I’ve now Knot Your Damn Omega and Knot All that Glitters and I plan to read more.

Lana Ferguson: I read Lana’s first book The Nanny earlier this year. And while I didn’t love it. I still did enjoy it quite a bit. And I am so excited for her next book. It’s more my style and I think I am going to love it.

Sheridan Anne: Sheridan has been on my TBR for some time now and I was able to pick up some of her books at RARE and BABE. I read the first in her Kings of Denver series and plan to read more. I’m excited about her darker series too.

K. Loraine and Meg Anne: I have had an up-and-down reading experience with these two authors. I’ve now read the whole of the The Mate Games series. And while I did enjoy it, I didn’t love it. I do plan on reading more from these two. I just don’t know when exactly.

Odette Stone: Odette is another author who has been on my TBR for a while now. I finally picked Puck Me Secretly and had a fantastic time. I am really looking forward to reading the rest of this series for sure. And maybe some of her other books.

And there we go. Those are some more of the new-to-me authors that I picked up so far in 2023. I had a good range of new-to-me authors that I picked up. I’m excited to read more from these authors and ready to read even more.

Have you read any of these authors? What did you think of them? Have you read any new-to-you authors this year? Let’s chat!

This week I’m sharing some of my favourite relationships from books. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish and is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.

I had a lot of fun with this week’s Top Ten Tuesday. You all know that the romance genre is my favourite. So I had a lot of books to pick from. But I tried to narrow it down as much as I could. So today I’m sharing some of my favourite relationships from books.

I am not going to lie, I probably missed so many that I loved, but I could only pick ten. I also did still to romantic relationships as then I would be here forever and could not get close to picking ten.  So let’s get into it, here are some of my favourite relationships from books. As always these are in no order.

Millie and Zack from Tempt (Cloverleigh Farms, #9) by Melanie Harlow. | Cade and Willa from Heartless (Chestnut Springs. #2) by Elsie Silver | Hades and Zed, Lucus and Cass. from Hades Series by Tate James. | Iris and Dex from Under Locke by Mariana Zapata.

Asher and Kole from Line Mates & Study Dates. (CU Hockey. #4) by Eden Finley and Saxon James. Delilah and Claire from Delilah Green Doesn’t Care. (Bright Falls. #1) by Ashley Herring Blake. | Layla and Caleb from Mixed Signals. (Lovelight, #3) by B.K. Borison. | Ella and Beckett from The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros.

Willa and Ryder from Only When It’s Us (Bergman Brothers. #1) by Chloe Liese. | Lola and Leo, Rake, Caleb, Matthieu, Wes and Cyrus from Lola & the Millionaires by Kathryn Moon.

And there we go, those are just some of my favourite relationships from books. Have you read any of the books I’ve mentioned? Who made it onto your list? So let’s chat!

I had such a great time reading this book. I didn’ I had such a great time reading this book. I didn’t know what to expect, but at the same time it was exactly what I wanted.

Driven is an entertaining, suspenseful new adult romance debut that has a second chance romance, is brothers best friend and has fast cars.

It’s one of those books that is perfect for those looking for something that they won’t want to put down, leave them second guessing and wanting more.

It’s full of second changes, finding yourself and falling for the one person that is forbidden.

This is all such a great debut novel that makes me want to read more from Emma J Warrender.
