A Slow but Steady Month | May Wrap Up

A Slow but Steady Month | May Wrap Up

Jun 23, 2024

Okay so I know it’s nearly the end of June, but I still have a little time to do my May wrap-up. It was a pretty okay reading month in May, not fantastic but I still managed to read a few books. I ended up reading 11 books in May. While I read some books from authors that I’ve read and loved before, I also read quite a few new to me authors, which I kind of love. It was a great month for discovery.

So let’s get right into it. Here are all the books that I read in May. And as always these are in no real order.

Her Greatest Mistake (Greatest Love, #1) by Hannah Cowan. – 3.5 Stars | Her Greatest Adventure (Greatest Love, #2) by Hannah Cowan – 3 Stars. | All I Need (The Knights Series, #1) by E. Salvador – 4 Stars. | Malice (Lost Souls MC, #1) by Brooklyn Cross. – 3 Stars.

Surrender (Lost Souls MC, #2) by Brooklyn Cross – 2.5 Stars. | Tattered Stars (Tattered & Torn, #1) by Catherine Cowles – 4 Stars. | Falling Embers (Tattered & Torn, #2) by Catherine Cowles – 4 Stars. | Hidden Waters (Tattered & Torn, #3) by Catherine Cowles. – 4 Stars.

Shattered Sea (Tattered & Torn, #4) by Catherine Cowles – 4 Stars. | Fractured Sky (Tattered & Torn, #5) by Catherine Cowles – 4.5 Stars. | Knot Her Goal (MVP: Most Valuable Pack, #1) by Ari Wright – 3 Stars.

And there we go, those are all the books that I read in May this year. As you can see it was mostly contemporary romances. But I kinda loved it because it gave me a break from all the fantasy I was reading. I read some real standouts this month including everything from Catherine Cowels and All I Need by E. Salvador.

What did you read in May? Did you have in standouts? Have you read anything that I have yet? So, let’s chat!

An Okay Reading Month | April Wrap Up

An Okay Reading Month | April Wrap Up

May 19, 2024

Well, this is a little late, but better now than never. I had a pretty decent reading month in April but not a fantastic one. I only ended up reading 10 books in April, but some of them were quite big reads. And I really liked pretty much all of them. I have already read quite a few in May so I am ready to share all of those already.

Anyway back to April, it was a mix of contemporary and fantasy in April, with some rereads added into there too. So let’s get into it, here are the books that I read in April, as always they are in no real order.

House of Omega by Roxy Collins – 3.5 Stars. | High Risk Rookie (Vancouver Wolves Hockey, #4) by Odette Stone – 3.5 Stars. | The Dreams of Broken Kings (Season of the Wolf, #3; Fae Guardians, #3) by Lana Pecherczyk – 4 Stars. | Scoring the Player (Campus Wallflowers, #3) by Rebecca Jenshak.  – 3.5 Stars.

Midnight of Ashes (Dragons of Ember Hollow, #2) by Tessa Hale – 4.5 Stars. | Before We Came (Lakes Hockey, #1) by Sloane St. James – 3 Stars. |  The Awakening (Zodiac Academy, #1) by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti – 3.5 Stars. Reread|  Ruthless Fae (Zodiac Academy, #2) by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti – 3.5 Stars. Reread

The Reckoning (Zodiac Academy, #3) by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti – 3.5 Stars. Reread. | Beautiful Beasts (Dragons of Viria, #1) by Devyn Sinclair – 4 Stars.

And there we go. Those are the books that I read in April. As you can see it wasn’t a massive amount but quite a few of them were big, so it makes me feel a little better. What did you read in April? Have you read anything that I did? Let’s chat!

A 4-Star Reading Month | March Wrap Up

A 4-Star Reading Month | March Wrap Up

Apr 4, 2024

It’s that time again, it’s time to share what I read this March. It was a strange reading month that is for sure. I didn’t read for at least the first week of the month. I didn’t have the energy to read really. But when I did start reading I just kept on going. So while it wasn’t an amazing reading month for me, I still managed to read 14 books.

I read a lot of new-to-me authors this month which was exciting.  As well as reading some books from authors that I have loved before. Pretty much all the books I read in March were also over 3.5 Stars, which was fantastic! I had so many 4.5-star reads as well.

Anyway enough chit-chat, let’s get into it. Here are the books that I read this March. And as always they are in no real order.

Behind the Net (Vancouver Storm, #1) by Stephanie Archer – 3.5 Stars. | The Omega Merger (Billionaires in Heat, #1) by Roxy Collins – 3 Stars. | Caution to the Wind (The Fallen Men, #7) by Giana Darling – 4.5 Stars. Reread. | Home Game (Vancouver Wolves Hockey, #2) by Odette Stone – 3.5 Stars.

Whispers of You (Lost & Found, #1) by Catherine Cowles – 4 Stars. | Echoes of You (The Lost & Found, #2) by Catherine Cowles – 4 Stars. | Glimmers of You (Lost & Found #3) by Catherine Cowles – 4.5 Stars. | Shadows of You (Lost & Found #4) by Catherine Cowles – 4.5 Stars.

Ashes of You (Lost & Found, #5) by Catherine Cowles – 4.5 Stars. | Tutoring the Player (Campus Wallflowers, #1) by Rebecca Jenshak – 3.5 Stars. | Hating the Player (Campus Wallflowers, #2) by Rebecca Jenshak – 3.5 Stars. | The Penalty Box (Vancouver Wolves Hockey, #3) by Odette Stone – 4 Stars.

The Longing of Lone Wolves (Fae Guardians, #1) by Lana Pecherczyk – 4 Stars. Reread. | Wild Love (Rose Hill, #1) by Elsie Silver – 4 Stars.

So there we go, as you can see I had a fantastic reading month. And while I didn’t read as many books as I wanted, the ones I read were very solid. Have you read any of the books on this list? What do you think of them? Are you planning on reading any books that I read in March? And what are your plans for April? So, let’s chat!

And I’m going to be honest here it’s because I’ve been constantly reading Heated Rivalry fanfics. 🤷‍♀️ I’m having the best time though.

How was your reading in February? Any 5 star reads?
